As Director, Building LeBreton, Katie Paris oversees the planning and implementation of the National Capital Commission’s renewed approach to redeveloping LeBreton Flats, ensuring an open and collaborative approach to master planning and a rigorous and market-tested phasing strategy. Prior to that, Katie led the National Capital Commission’s Real Estate Transactions and Development and Environment divisions as a Director. Katie previously had 20 years’ experience in the public, non-profit and private sectors in both the U.S. and Canada. She was a Director at PPP Canada and has served as an advisor in sustainability and green buildings, facilitated integrated design processes and achieved certification as a LEED AP in Neighbourhood Development. Katie holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management, a Master’s of Environmental Studies from the Yale School of the Environment, and a bachelor’s from Stanford University.
